Oh my god the gayest cake I have ever made! made for my gay best friend on his gay birthday. while he was wearing rainbows.
This cake was so fun to make and is one of the best I’ve ever made!!! I love it. I had to bake two cakes on the same day for two friends birthday party and they had the same name! DX
Love you Bella my dear!
Just wanted to post a photo of some miso soup I made a while ago that looked really pretty
<3
The rice is easy to make like that. just smush it into a little bowl and turn upside down till the rice falls out.
(This One is NOT my recipe. Recipe from Food of Japan , Shirley booth)
serves 4
ingredients:
2 Tbsp Dried Wakame (seaweed)
1 small block silken tofu
5 Tbsp Miso
1 litre Dashi stock
2 chopped spring onions (to garnish)
1. soak dried wakame in cold water until soft (a few minutes should do) squeeze water away. Chop tofu into little cubes.
2. Divide wakame and tofu between four small bowls. Put the miso into a small bowl/cup
3. Bring the dashi to a boil in a saucepan and use a couple of tablespoons of it to mix into the miso till it’s a thin paste. blend it thoroughly.
4. Pour miso paste into the Dashi, mix in. Remove from the heat and ladle the soup carefully on top of the ingredients in each bowl. Garnish with spring onions and serve.
Hey. Was left alone one night and made some ramen, it came out reeaaallly yummy, I liked it so much I wrote down the recipe. Enjoy. (The salmon is a recipe from Food of japan , Shirley booth)
Ramen is fantastic cause you can make it from anything, it’s also nice and simple.
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1 salmon fillet
Marinade:
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1/2 Tbsp Mirin
1/2 Tbsp Saké
1/4 Tbsp Sugar
Soup:
500 ml chicken/vegetable stock
2 Tsp Mirin
1/2 Tsp Sesame Oil
Soy sauce to taste. (Kikkomen soy sauce is best, but as long as it’s Light soy sauce, dark soy sauce is icky XP)
Any vegetables you want to put in (ramens great that way. I suggest; Carrots, Mushrooms, seaweed, pretty much anything really.)
Ramen (instant ramen with no flavour can be bought, if not just buy some instant ramen and get rid of the flavouring package in it.)
Salmon:
1.Mix the marinade ingredients together well. Wash the salmon and place in a flat shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the salmon and leave for around an hour (2 hours if you can) turning the salmon over every now and again to absorb as much as possible.
2. Remove from marinade (save what is left over) and place under a hot grill. Grill for about 3 minutes on each side. (time may vary depending on thickness of fish.)
Noodles:
1. Heat the stock till simmering/boiling (I suggest you use just cubes or powder. none of the good quality stock cause it’ll taste strange and quite salty) Add the mirin and sesame oil.
2. Take the left over marinade from the salmon and pour it into the stock (add as much or as little to taste) and then season with soy sauce according to taste.
3. Cook the ramen in the stock until done, put the ramen in a bowl, put any vegetable on top, pour over the soup and place the salmon on top.
Enjoy <3

Hey folks! I’m planning to go to the october convention (MCM) and two of my friends are going too and they’re gonna be nappa and vegeta from Dragonball Z (the abridged) should be awesome. I’m gonna help them with the costumes and so I had an attempt at making a scouter.
Didn’t take long, only an hour or so, was surprisingly easy. When I make the real thing I might post up a sort of…. how to guide.
This is more of a rough version, no paint or anything, I might paint it later if I can be bothered.
The scouter is made of card, scrumpled paper, Tape and one eye glass from a pair of glasses. Also I haven’t figured out how to keep it on the ear yet so I just taped it to my hairband for now.
For anybody who ever wants to cosplay as Vegeta, Nappa or any saiyan, don’t use a cloth costume for the armor. It looks stupid…. it’s ARMOR! as does any cosplay you can buy of them… they do it wrong. And as for scouters, you can buy them but they don’t fit properly on everyone so you’re better off making your own, tis pretty easy.

This is an incredibly old cake.
A couple of years ago I had a habit of making cakes every saturday, this fell down the pooper when it was discovered that niether me nor my mother really care much for cake ^^:;; however! this was the one cake we both found delicious, it was layers of lemon cake and layers of melted chocolate, it was absolultely lovely!
Let me point out that even though I don’t like my own cakes, everybody else does ^w^ I’m just not a fan of cake (cept dense chocolate, but I attempt not to make things I’m liekly to eat)

This was a birthday cake for my little brother ^^ he loves doctor who so I thought he might like this.
It was the first shaped cake I made and it came out a little squished ^^;; but it weren’t half bad
Shall be attempting more shaped cakes!

Mini cake. after I made a birthday cake for my brother I had an extra piece of cake left so I made this.
I know it isn’t great but this was the first sugar flower I ever made! and my first attempt at a fancy cake.
enjoy!
This is the santa costume my mom and me made for me for christmas (wore it to school for a day, was funny) this is me wearing it! you do not get to see my ugly face!
